The Growth Of Apple Inc

Apple is the most valuable company in the world. It was founded in a garage by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne. Since its inception, Apple has seen rapid growth. Their primary gadget were desktops computers. They found success in this industry but over time began diversifying. They started manufacturing laptops and then went onto devices such as the iPod. The iPod was extremely successful reinvigorating the Apple name after a few years of slump and peaking interest in the brand. A few years after the release of the iPod, Apple started manufacturing different types of iPods. Some were touch based and some had no screens. This led to the creation of Apple’s most successful creation to date. The iPhone.

The iPhone was first introduced to the public in 2007. It was a device that operated in a completely different way than the existing devices in the market dominated by companies such as Nokia and Sony Ericson. It was a capacitive touch based mobiles and everything was done by touching the screen. It was a smartphone that was not only innovative but also different than any other device available at the time. It was a device that would change the landscape of the smartphone comparison industry. At the time, most devices were feature phones or button based phones but the iPhone completely changed it.

Since the introduction of the iPhone, Apple has been updating the phone yearly. Sales too have been increasing every year. With each release Apple brought on new features to the top quality android phone. These are both software and hardware changes. The iPhone was so popular that people began standing in line days before it was released so they could grab a model. Today, the iPhone has come 10 long years. The innovation it has achieved over all this time is unprecedented. Further, the sales of the iPhone along with the iPad, has made Apple the most valuable company in the world.

The iPad has greatly benefitted Apple along with the iPhone. Before the iPhone was even created, Apple wanted to create the iPad. If this was the case, we would have gotten the iPad first. The iPad was first released in 2010, 3 years after the release of the iPhone. It took a few years for Apple to perfect the device and release it to the market. Since the iPad was a larger device, Apple scrapped the idea and started working on the iPhone instead. This was the right plan because iPad sales were boosted partly due to Apple’s recognition from the iPhone and the similarities it shared with the iPhone.

Today Apple is one of the most recognized companies in the world. Years of innovation along with dedication and hard work has made Apple achieve this success. It is believed that this success will continue for upcoming years as well.
